Anti-Clues

hiya hiya hiya
I wish I could tell you who will be playing Maester Luwin, Grand Maester Pycelle, the Hound, Ser Rodrik, Khal Drogo, Magister Illyrio, Gared, Will, Ser Waymar Royce, and Cersei Lannister... but those parts have not been cast yet, to the best of my knowledge.

A number of other parts have not been cast yet either. That list is by no means exhaustive.

We do have some great contenders, though, and of course I have my own favorites. A few of these might be filled by the end of the day tomorrow. Or not.

At this writing, the secret seven is still the secret seven.

Actually, we've seen a number of actors who would be great as the Hound. Speaking purely for myself, I think the hardest role to fill is Bran.

Hodor is going to be hard as well. We need to find a really big, strong actor who can convey a huge range of reactions and emotions entirely with his face, his eyes, and spoken variations of a single word. Like asking a guitarist to play a tune with only one string.

...and here I thought getting an actress to agree to play a character that requires her to expose one breast in nearly every scene was going to be the hardest...go figure.

That's funny...
Didn't you also say he was one of the hardest to write? Or was it that he was one of your least favorite to write? Either way, I'm glad you did, because behind Tyrion, Bran's is probably my favorite storyline. Keep up the amazing work, and thanks for the sneaky hints/anti-hints!

The Hound
When reading the books, whenever the Hound was mentioned, I pictured Michael Byrne(I). I think that began after I'd seen Braveheart for the 1000th time and after reading A Game of Thrones. He may be too old for it now, but I always thought he'd be great for that role. I hope whoever they do pick can take over the role, so that I no longer picture Mr. Byrne when I read about him. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0126250/
