Dancing

Taking another whack at the Meereenese knot today. I'm going to try breaking two largish chapters into four smallish ones, changing the order of events somewhat, and weaving them all together. Maybe that will work a little better.

Can it really be September?? Ack. I can feel the heat of those flames...

Best news I've heard (it's all good, it's just this is the best). If you think a chapter is largish then it's most likely novella size in it's own right. But, breaking it into smaller chapters will just make you want to fill them out with more story; plus, you'll probably need to wedge a fifth chapter in between to tie them together or keep us in touch with happenings elsewhere...I'm starting to know you better.

I like hearing about your progress and setbacks. Remember to keep notes on what you need to do...pour all the tasks out of your mind onto paper to free it up and focus on one task at a time. It's too tempting otherwise to have inspiration about something and shift gears. Having two chapters that need a lot of work is much easier to deal with than 15 chapters that need some "touchup".

Have fun with it...then when we read it we will have fun too!
