I am hoping by the time this is done you will come out and say "Well the good news is that I had done so much work around these chapters that I have already finished the next book as well", but I don't think we will be that lucky :(

One chapter at a time, one page at a time, one word at a time...easy to say, but must be torture for you when you are actually putting into practice. It is painful to wait but I really do appreciate you putting in this much effort to get the book exactly the way you want. You could have taken the easy way out many, many, many times by now and wrapped it up nice and neat, but then it wouldn't be an Ice and Fire book and it definitely would not be a GRRM book. I think everyone crying and complaining now will be blown away when this thing comes out.

Even if you had seventy-seven more chapters to write I'm so happy your that much closer to completing DANCE. Keep up the good work!!! And thank you for being such a dedicated and original artist. You have truly had a profound affect on my love of literature. Your my favorite author (well maybe second compared to Alan Moore, but I still love you).

And, not that you necessarily need a random internet-monkey to tell you this, but it's a strong testament to your tremendous skill that each one of them is a recognizable, discrete individual who could be a story all by themselves.
