Belfast At Last

Spain
Late, wet, and bedraggled, but I'm here.

Tomorrow heads will roll. Well, one head, at least.

The Head
I think people asking if it's Ned's head are forgetting how the story begins. Also, how long do they think the pilot is going to be?

Enjoy the city
George,

Try to get to the Mourne Seafood Bar if you like seafood. Difficult at best. Also try Dean's restaurant if you get the time and the Crown Saloon brings you back in time. Belfast is a nice city despite its past and you will enjoy your time there. My family lives there and I find that I like Belfast better than Dublin.

gutted...
I leave Scotland to go to Ireland and when I get back to Scotland you leave for Ireland...I'll never get a squiggle on a book!
p.s. what a time to travel to the "bonnie-er" countries eh?

jealous
Gotta say I'm crazy jealous... Scotland, Ireland, AND England? How lucky does a guy get?!

When you're in London go to Speaker's Corner if you've never been, because it's easily one of the coolest places I went while I lived there. Well...that and hurriedly changing clothes behind the resting place of some dead king (Henry something or other)in Westminster Abbey while keeping an eye out for nuns. You probably don't want to do that, it's a little hard on the nerves.

The rain does get a little annoying but it could be worse. At least it's not snowing.

Yet.

Speaker's Corner
Funny that you would mention Speaker's Corner... Because when I visited London last year, that was my trip's worse disappointmen. Just a concrete ground area at the corner of Hyde Park... Not a hint of a soap box, nobody, and no panel explaining the place's history.

What did you see there that was so memorable?

Re: Speaker's Corner
People nattering about the government and warning everyone about the end of the world.

A bunch of religious people and atheists, all arguing.

And a guy who was convinced he was Jesus was sitting in a tree.

It was riddiculously fun.

Do you find yourself inspired by watching your vision come to life with this cast?

It has to be exciting to hear your words coming out of so many talented mouths.

Incidentally, I'm getting HBO just to watch this show when it gets picked up. :)

One head will roll? Oh! That makes me sad just reading that. Now I have to remember that a certain someone in the books is no longer there. (I've been living in denial.)
