The Meereenese Knot...

... may be fraying, just a little.

But don't quote me on that.

Sweetness
Looking forward to the next book like everyone else. You rock, George. There are some other good Fantasy/Historical writers out there, but you're the best.

Thank you kindly for the update, sir, and for hacking away at that knot. I'm a new fan, having only just finished Feast For Crows a couple of weeks ago. Adore the series, and am itching to re-read all four books already! Best of luck with Meereen!

I wish you the wit and wisdom of a certain noseless half-man, many as there are in the world. Thanks for the update and keep tugging at it!

Good to hear, but to be honest I wouldn't mind if the dragon just went and swallowed the Earth and we can focus on the battle with the others, and this demon witch Melisandre :P. The chick whose tryin' to seduce my main Jon Snow!

Yay, fraying!! (Or freying - that could be good too, in a story sense anyhow.) I'm with the people suggesting a small reference to the infamous meereenese knot.. but also suspect a meereenese knot would not long survive the nearness of real dragonfire.

Keep at it, sirt! Good writing-luck to you!

Curiosity forces the question of the source of entanglement? Indeed, it will not be met, but fraying implies much sought after.

Knot cutting
I have read all the comments on this post and everyone is in good spirits. What a wonderful world we live in.
I hope the last comment was suggesting you tug at the knot.

You Think It's a Real Booger, But IT'SNOT!
Been dying to use that Subject for a while now ...

Whatever it takes to feed your Muse, we'll supply it in Spades ("Spades?" Get it? Wildcards reference? ... hmm. Sorry, I've been working all night. MY Muse is punchy ... )

Excellent news! Good luck with the rest of the knot. Of course, the hardest part of any knot is loosening it.
