I started watching Deadwood last night, which I seem to remember was a favorite of yours. I'm not sure what the hell is going one yet, but I love the dark, gritty tone of the show. I really hope the GoT series can do something similar, especially those barely lit saloon scenes. I was pretending they were in an inn in Westeros (which now that I think of it was probably why I had no idea what was going on).
