Vote Early and Often

Spain
More cool news. The good folks at Green Ronin have informed me that PERIL AT KING'S LANDING has been nominated for an ENnie Award in the "Best Adventure" category.

The ENnie Awards are the most prestigious honors in role-playing these day, I am told. Green Ronin also has nominees in the "Best Game" and "Product of the Year" categories.

The voting is going on RIGHT NOW, and is open to the public. To cast your ballot, go to

In other gaming news, Green Ronin informs me that the Pocket Edition of their SONG OF ICE AND FIRE RPG is at the printers, and will debut at GenCon. It is also available for pre-order for those who cannot be at GenCon.

My congratulations to Green Ronin. They have done a great job with the RPG license.

(Oh, one last word about RPGs. I've turned up another small batch of the deluxe limited edition leatherbound Guardians of Order RPG book, and will be offering them again via my website while the supply lasts. Watch my Signed Books page for details).

If you are selling the RPG book for as little as last time I think this time I will have to take advantage of this offer! Really I think you could sell them for 300 USD and still have demand because they are so rare!

I don't think "little" is the word I would use.

They are going for more than $300 elsewhere, as you note. I will likely start them at $200, but the price will go up as the stock goes down.

Right now I have fourteen (14) copies. I expect to get some more, maybe another fourteen or fifteen, maybe less. Once those are gone, I'm pretty sure that's it. At least from me.

Question about cannon
GRRM,

Would you consider any of the RPG material and/or any of the adventures therein (at least from Green Ronin) be considered cannon to the series? Or would cannon be specifically what you wrote exclusively?

I'm asking this for an my old friend Krafus.

Thanks,

VonLent

Re: Question about cannon
Only the novels are canon.

Peril at King's Landing was a brilliant adventure, so it definately deserves the nomination.

I still regret not having one of the PC's executed though. (Had her schemed out of trouble by The Imp, mostly, which felt a bit too railroaded in retrospect.) It would've been perfect for the mood if one of the most liked characters in the group had snuffed it in the first adventure.

Not spoilin', just SAYIN'.
