The premiere of HBO's GAME OF THRONES series creeps closer and closer with every passing day
(there's a countdown on the home page of my website), and the promotion continues to ramp up. A new trailer made its debut this evening.
For those who missed it, enjoy:
And on other fronts... it's still snowing on Skull Island, but one of the krakens is done and t'other is down to the last tentacle. Closer and closer... inch by inch, word by word, step by step...

Good to hear the krakens are nearly defeated, and to hear your optimism about getting closer and closer.
Just cracked the spine on the first book!
And thank you for the update on ADWD. Good to know the kraken's on the verge of surrender. Hope the wolf proves as pliable :)

The best we generally get for our beloved author are vague animal metaphors that get us some kind of insight on his progress... Unless you can manage to be at the same party that he’s attending (at a CON or some other merry event) and manage to get him drunk enough, he might just slip some juicy technical details your way :¬)
This is so you, so Game of Thrones. You seem to be very luck with your screen adaptation. HAve you already seen something more than a trailer? Is it as good?
And I'm glad to hear the battle is going your way, Mr. Martin.
I pray non-denominationally to some vague amalgamation of Gods that this is successful and we get a season, or two, for each book.
