I've tied the last kraken up in knots, only to have another swarm up from the depths.

Aiieeee.

As of this morning, A DANCE WITH DRAGONS is thirty (manuscript) pages longer than A STORM OF SWORDS. And. Not. Done. Yet.

Dragons, krakens, monkeys, I hates them all.

But I press on. Kong, Kong, I will beat you yet! Where's my bloody biplane???

Don't be frustrated, be glad. The more the merrier, say I. I'm prepared to wait until 3yrs after my death for Dance (but not a day longer).

I want to thank you Mr. Martin for giving your readers something that you worked your butt off for. Many other writers release books that seem rushed and are poorly constructed, but you are taking your time to create something you deem as worthy of release... and for that I said bravo sir!

Looking forward to ADWD, just getting into AFFC in my annual re-read and I have to say that this is shaping up to be the best year since I first discovered ASOIF :D Hoping that you get all those pesky loose ends tied up, that you don't abandon Sandor and Littlefinger gets what he deserves in the end.
