Tonight's the Night!

Winter is coming to HBO... tonight!

I think we can be pretty sure GAME OF THRONES will be better than SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER, at least. Fortunately, this show comes from Benioff and Weiss, not Bialystock and Bloom.

We're pretty excited here. (Even though I've already seen tonight's episode).

And remember -- HBO is free this weekend on most cable systems throughout the US. So even if you don't normally get HBO, if you have cable the chances are excellent that you can at least see tonight's premiere.

(After which, of course, we hope you'll all be signing up for HBO).

More a little later. I have to get back to Kong.

I'm glad to know that it's free this weekend. I was pouting this morning thinking I wasn't going to see the premier because I don't have HBO. I feel like a major nerd but I just can't help but love a good story. Thanks.

*sigh* Here in Spain we'll have to wait until May 9th for the spanish-dubbed premiere on Canal +

Counting down the days... and running out of nails to bite.

i just watched the "Poison" trailer and I know Lysa isn't fat like in the books but i instantly recognized her and i only saw her for a second but they did a really good job on casting her... no i don't usually judge on one line/scene but her tone, body language and inflection was purrrrfect.

I've also been thinking about Jaqen H'ghar but i will have to wait for next season to worry about that.

Super excited.

I'm sooo excited too!!
I've just turned on tv and I got a message from my TV provider that HBO will be free for the Game of Thrones premiere. I live in Poland and we have the premiere tomorrow.
I'm so happy it got Polish translation so fast... Thumbs up!!

I signed up last weekend, just to make sure I would be ready for my trip to Westeros. I cannot miss this series!

I'm so excited! This has been the best weekend ever!

Oh, you picked the perfect song for this, too.

So excited! Can't wait!

(And no love for Springtime for Hitler? I'm shocked. It was the bestest musical ever. ;-D)

Wish I got HBO, but cable/digital/satellite/whatever they're calling it these days is not really on the list of things I can afford. :( I'm sure it will be great, though, and I'll rent it right away when it comes out on DVD.

Someone wouldn't happen to know when those of us not in countries with HBO/Sky can expect a DVD release?

The offspring and I have been unable to concentrate on anything all day. I can't remember ever before wanting the weekend to be over so I could get to Sunday night. EVER.

I got HBO just because of A Game of Thrones. I'm looking forward to watching the first episode tonight.

I was only introduced to your books last month and I am so sorry I missed out on them before this. They are so well written, always keep you guessing and are very hard to put down. They have made me late coming back from lunch more then a few times. *grin*

This is probably the first time since I've started working that I am eager and anxious for it to be Sunday night! :)

I don't seem to have HBO free this weekend. Odd. :\ Though there is like a dozen differnet HBO channels to pick from.

Congratulations in advance
I am very much looking forward to seeing your story come to life tonight. I have no doubt that it will be a breathtaking experience. George, I look forward to "hearing you roar".
