Just For the Record...

hiya hiya hiya
... I am not Horatio King. {Or Oliver either}

I did, however, inspire him.

Oliver King was associated with the restoration of an Abbey. McFayden played the monk who dreamt about building a cathedral in “Pillars of the Earth” And the bio for horatio king says he is writing “pillars of time”

Morgan Deare
So apparently this actor Morgan Deare is going to play Horatio King in an upcoming film The Callback Queen. Don't really understand the other hints.

AJH as Melisandre?
How about Amy Joyce Hastings as Melisandre? She is in 'The Callback Queen" with Morgan Deare. And last year she auditioned for Doreah. She is also invovled with 22:22 Productions.

Melisandre?
Us humble members of House Gatewatch, over at WiCnet, speculate that it is Amy Joyce Hastings for the part of the Red Woman, due to her many connections with the film "The CallBack Queen", 22:22 productions, and that she auditioned for Doreah for season 1.

Re: Melisandre?
To add to the Melisandre evidence, Roger Zelazny, who wrote Prince of Chaos, also wrote Lord of Light.

Why Stannis?
How did you come the conclusion it was Stannis. isnt he too old to play that part? Stannis is Roberts younger brother after all. Maybe Balon Greyjoy if I´m to guess.

Re: Why Stannis?
It's the threes on the cover. Three children, trilogy, etc. The crown, the mention of betrayals, the flames behind the crown.
"his greatest challenge is admitting that betrayal exists ..."
It's just a guess, maybe not a good one.
I always forget that Stannis is younger than Robert. He's so rigid, he always seems older to me.

Stannis is Robert's OLDER brother. Stannis, then Robert, then Renly.

The Old Fish
Additionally, some members of House Gatewatch over at Winter-is-coming.net feel that this may be a clue for MULTIPLE castings and put forth that Morgan Deare would make an excellent Hoster Tully - as having three children and the same initials as Houston, Texas, might show.

I don't know who this is or what is going on, but I do want to know why there is a glaring typo in the first SENTENCE of the back cover copy. Ouch.

Morgan Deare seems like a likely choice for Hoster Tully.
Houston, TX= Hoster Tully
3 kids= Catelyn, Lysa, Edmure

Hello,

George just sent me a message about the casting specualtion on WIC.net about this post. The reality is that while I would love to audition for Melisandre or Ygritte, I have not yet done so, nevermind being already cast!

'The Callback Queen' is a romantic comedy feature film the plot of which revolves around an actress auditioning for a movie adaptation of a series of fantasy novels (fictional) by the (again fictional) author Horatio King - George R R Martin was the inspiration for that character and the GOT series inspired the 'Prince of Chaos' book/film in the storyline. The image above is a graphic book jacket used as a prop in a scene in the film.

I'm very flattered people assumed I was cast in GOT but wanted to set the record straight! Thanks to George for creating a little buzz around the film too.

Best wishes,

Amy-Joyce Hastings
