Voted in the Scream Awards. *two thumbs up*
Lots of congratulations to all for those awards and nominations. They really deserve it!
And thank you for the link, I just cast my votes (I'd be especially happy for Emilia Clarke to win, to be honest^^) =)
and well... But of course!!
In general, really glad to hear more Game of Thrones and Song of Ice and Fire love. It's good that us fantasy nerds can be accepted as part of society now.
Now, the fact that these individuals took a look at and considered "Game Of Thrones" and by implication "A Song Of Ice And Fire" into all these categories is an honour and it speaks volumes as to what we got in our hands here!
Now if they would only nominate Esme Bianco for the "Hardest Working Girl in Westeros" Award...the Scream Awards would be even more awesome!
By the way is Ms. Bianco coming back to "Game Of Thrones" in the second season...or at some point in the future? (I know it is the wrong site to ask this on...but I couldn't resist!)
Given how I'm quite bitter that Emilia Clarke and Sean Bean did not get nominated for Emmy's, I hope these Scream awards will at least grant them SOME justice. And besides, I would give those particular panel of judges FAR MORE credit than those Emmy voters any day.
Also: I understand why you don't attend Dragon*Con anymore, but you definitely had fans there. I also saw a midget while at the con, and wondered if he knew the opportunity he'd missed by not cosplaying as Tyrion...
Uh, welcome to the 21st century. I believe the adjective you are looking for is 'Little Person' (heavy on the semantic 'Person').
In retrospect, though, using it wasn't a good idea. I apologize to anyone I've offended.
I was more offended at the notion of a man dressing up for the amusement of others. Even supposing he did so, why could he not dress as Jaime, The Dog, Ned, even Brienne if he wanted? Does he not have that choice?
My point really was this, labels cause divides. Divisions end at places called Dachau, Rwanda, Wounded Kneee, The World Trade Centre....
That is a very, very VERY bizzare image. Almost as strange as "crossdressing Mr. Popo."
