Your G-Men were an excellent proof for the Niners to show they're actually a force to be considered and not just riding the back of a terrible division. An honorable role that, you can be proud.

Kinda felt the Pats were going lay a can of whoopass on the Jets. They were due.

Giants... penalties, penalties, penalties. I know Manningham is a good receiver, but I really wish Ramses Barden would get more looks. And, why would Gilbride call any running plays that have Jacobs run to the sideline? He's too big and easy for any defense to react quickly to. The penalties were bad, but the play calling was worse.

Because it might inspire new ways to torture your characters?

(I suffered through the Bills not pulling it off against the hated Cowboys, and in recent years I've grown a soft spot for the Jets. I know enough of the feeling.)

At least the Niners are a good team this year.

Hey Mr Martin, I love your books and it was a pleasure to watch my Patriots and Saintly Bill defeat Evil Big Rex and your Jets. I was at the Burlington Booksigning, near the front of the line wearing a Tom Brady Jersey, I doubt you remember, but I said it was just for you! Anyways, in all honesty I respect the Jets and I do like that you watch football. Enjoy the rest of the Giants season (but I hope not for the Jets- sorry they are in division rivals).

Oh, George! As a Cardinals fan,I can only say that sometimes your teams repay your devotion! And yours pay better than mine did. You lot won the Super Bowl once! We just.. y'know, got there once.

It's never that good after wins, and neither is it that bad after losses.

But being a fan of both the Giants & the Jets means it's a double whammy special when they both lose on the same day. The Giants are solid, but not elite. Manning is great, and the defense should be playoff-worthy. But they need a reliable running game. However, the Jets are overrated -- lacking the depth they had last year since that was an uncapped year. That means they'll promise more than they can deliver and tease you the rest of the year.

The Jets looked tired and outmatched in the 4th quarter. The INTs took the life out of the Jets. The Giants/49ers was a better game, but the 49ers defense denied the Giants on that last drive. Eli did have a chance and I know all NY fans were counting on him. I do not envy the 5 game stretch the G-men are going through. NE, SF, Phily, NO and GB to top it off. The Jets schedule seems a lot more manageable through the end of the season.

You know why you watch football. You love it! Even when your teams lose you love it. I've read most of your posts after game days. You are a true fan. At least your teams lost to good opponents. It's not like you lost to Miami or Indy.

49ers are for real . . . They're going to beat the Packers in the NFC Championship and win the Superbowl!

your entire program/franchise is not on the verge of being dismantled. As a college football fan and Husker fan, I feel for Penn State fans, alumni, and faithful, but I am thoroughly disgusted that such evil was allowed to take place and persist. I suppose the only upside is that it puts things in perspective.

Besides, Jets don't have to worry. Do you know how hard it is to beat an NFL team 3 times in the same year? And the football Giants have to get completely healthy and adjusted before they get in their groove. S.F. seems to have that regular season magic that typically translates to postseason tragedy.
