Can I ask how you feel about The Simpsons' Game of Thrones couch-gag intro?

Always seems like The Simpsons is a gauge of "Truly Making It". :)

Such a cool Simpsons intro, indeed! Heck, even The Atlantic is getting in on it - April 2012's "entertainment" column is all about "Game of Thrones" (the HBO series, but GRRM's writing gets some attention too).

Now we wait for the backlash....

That was awesome!
I would have had Bart dressed like Joff, Lisa carrying Needle, and Burns is definitely Waldar Frey. But it was great that they did it.
Yes! Making the couch sequence of The Simpson's means you've made some cultural impact!

Hey, cool name for the Komodo. George, I was just wondering if on your upcoming trip to England, if you would have a stop over in Gander, Newfoundland. Even if it's only for a plane refuelling, I'd like to at least wave to you from the terminal(it's a very small airport). If not then enjoy the trip, and I can wait for April 1st, and book 6 of course.

Most radically, totally awesome
Oh illustrious Ser, this is where I live! Any plans for coming to knoxville for a signing in the near or distant future?

Hubby's LARP group is trying to set up a southeastern SFF convention, hopefully in Knoxvegas. Its an uphill battle but they're getting organized. One day, hopefully..... do you think authors and other SF talent would be interested in a southern convention, outside of the "big" southern cities like Atlanta?

Re: Most radically, totally awesome
Hey - are you planning on getting "up" to Chicago for Chicon 7 August 30-Sept 3 ???? Knoxville isn't all that long a drive. My partner and I are also into LARP and have a group here in Chicago. If you are coming to the convention maybe we could all get together. If you are on a budget - we could also help out with a place to stay.
If interested - let us know.

Queen Khaleesi in the house, everyone! She needs suitors, but eight-foot lizards probably take up a lot of space.
