Without getting into Tebow's or Sanchez's accomplishments, let's be frank. After three full seasons as the starter, if Sanchez truly doesn't have the confidence and mental fortitude to deal with Tebow as his backup and the pressure that entails, he isn't cut out to be a starting NFL quarterback. That's the bottom line that must be understood. One cannot worry about how this will affect poor Sanchez's psyche, because if he's made of the right stuff, it shouldn't.

Further, don't buy into the media hype. I've yet to hear Tebow complaining about locker room environments, or teammates complaining about Tebow's piety in the context of the team. He seems to handle it just fine. New York isn't unique.

The most alarming part of this trade is that there's this much outrage. It's a trade involving a 4th-round pick and a backup QB.
