Season Three

Spain
Yes, it's official.

HBO has ordered a third season of GAME OF THRONES.

Like the first two seasons, it will be ten episodes long. This one will cover (roughly) the first half or thereabouts of A STORM OF SWORDS, the third novel in the series.

I'll be writing the seventh episode, with the working title "Autumn Storms."

Full details can be found at a dozen other places on the web, so I won't rehash 'em here. Just wanted to pass along the news to my faithful readers.

We had a grab event tonight at the Bloomsbury Theatre. Now I'm tired. night, all.

I find it really funny that the sex scenes disturb so many people. Nobody cares if the screen shows someone having his throat cut or his bowels spilled on the floor; it is fine for us to watch children slaughtered and skulls crushed. However, god forbid someone has sex on a brothel.

The book has a LOT more sex scenes than what the tv shows, and more explicit. But most of it is mentioned as hapenning in the background of the dialogue or main event of the scene, so people can ignore it. It is harder to ignore when it is happening in the background of your screen, though... nevertheless, it is far from being "unnecessary and displaced" (or misplaced).

It reminds me of last season, when a lot of people were angry because they killed the wolf (off-screen), and nobody was upset that they cut down the butcher's boy and his bloody corpse was shown.

People have some twisted moral principles, I think.

"People have some twisted moral principles, I think."

This should be the quote of our generation.
