Wolf Sanctuary Gifts

Thanks to everyone who donated to the Wild Spirit Wolf Sanctuary. We had an extremely successful donation drive, and the generosity of my fans is humbling. Thank you all very much.

However, because we were so successful, my overworked assistants are struggling to get all of the gifts shipped out. All of the Dance with Dragons have been shipped, but not all of the Captain of the Guard chapbooks have. Please be patient. They're being processed as fast as possible.

Again, thank you for helping this worthy cause.

Happy to hear success
As a ginormous fan of your writings, I am thrilled to read about the good deeds growing from your noteriety, and glad that you are able to make good use of your fortunes. May the high tides continue!

Please assure me that you have not finished writing this wonderfully enticing saga of Fire and Ice. I am hanging on the edge of my seat, and need to know what happens to these people! Does Cersei hang, does Arya/ no one return to her kinfolk, does Tyrion prevail once again, what will happen? And where is Brienne and Jaime? Please don't leave us hanging!

Yours truly,
Laura

I wonder how many Stark lives were bought by this donation drive. ;)

It was a very worthy cause and I'm glad it turned out so successfully!

wolf sanctuary
Delighted to secure chap book / help wolves. Hermitting on remote Scottish island, overseas package from NM eagerly awaited, off my very erractic but enigmatic postman, who BTW, in his Hogmanay cups, once declared he was 'a football pro, before 'big bucks' ruined the game & that folks still ask for his autograph in airports etc on his [infrequent] trips 'back home'. Of course, this is of absolutely no interest to anyone here.. Pair (poor) lad....

No thanks necessary ...
... In this world, for the wolves of the Western hemisphere,a terrible Summer Is Coming, and with avengeance. It's the least we can do.

Got It!
My Chapbook arrived in Chicago today (thanks Ty, Raya and Pat). I am finding not only the chapbook fun but am also enjoying the envelope from the Fevre River Packet Co. since we were out in Galena last weekend and just saw the Fevre(Galena)River. Am reading Windhaven now on my Nook and enjoying it!

My chap book just arrived today! Thank you so much! Hopefully I'll be able to get another autograph in person whenever Winds of Winter comes out (if you do a book tour) ;) Happy to help the wolves & have a cool, autographed collector's item :D

Received it today :)
A big thank you to you George for supporting such an awesome cause, glad I could help out a little. I hope all the donations buy a Snow and a Stark life or two. The chapbook came in a padded envelope, but I wanted to make you aware that the post office still bent it up pretty good. Its no big to me as I feel lucky to have helped out and have a really cool addition to my collection. I just wanted to give you and your staff a heads up, a cardboard backing might help fix this in the future. Thank you for your tireless work. I know how much traveling and living in hotels can take its toll after some time. My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting you last year in the Bay Area for a signing. Hopefully by the next visit I can track down the first two books in first edition to complete the set. Another cool thing for future charity work maybe to personalize a fans book since you can't at events anymore. A first edition or a ARC would be a treasure in the hearts of your lifelong fans who don't ebay stuff.

Safe travels, and may dragons speed your flight back home
