Aviles was wonderful, Celsius sensational, spent my mornings signing endless copies of my books, and my evenings drinking in sidewalk cafes with Joe Abercrombie, Lisa Tuttle, Colin Murray, Diego Cruz,Ian Watson, Cristina Macias, Adam Nevill, Dimitri The Russian Guy, and many Asturian friends.
Now I'm in Madrid, doing endless interviews for Canal + and posing on their Iron Throne. It's hot here, but life is cool.

Oh, indeed. It's damn hot in Madrid now. Above all, the contrast between Avilés and Madrid is really big, in my opinion.
Have loads of more fun in Madrid before departing to another city, and please... Come back someday! :)

It was a pleasure to have you here in Asturias, I hope you enjoyed what you saw and experienced, wich, no doubt, wasn't enough.
Our land has astonishing atlantic landscapes, towering limestone peaks, deep beech forests, a real natural paradise. It's also very interesting for its cultural heritage, partly celtic.
I hope you can come and visit again, more for pleasure than for work, I'm sure you'd find some good inspiration for your art.
Keep the nice work, George, and thanks!
Alex
Oh well, guess I'll have to just wait out till you someday find yourself in Philadelphia, PA :)
And sorry for posting this for the umpteenth time if all my other ones end up showing up . . . .
We need you here in Brazil!
Please, come to Rio and São Paulo and make me very very happy!
We love you, soooo much
I'll looking forward to you coming to Barcelona! Hope you enjoy your stay in Spain.
Come back to Spain whenever you want :)
xox, LK
Greetings!
I'm looking forward to meet you again, ("perhaps" as you said to me on saturday when i asked you) next year in Semana Negra in Gijon.
Take care of yourself, and keep on delighting us with your work.
It was nice to have met you.
On a more serious note, I am glad that you are enjoying yourself. After bringing so much excitement and joy for so many people, I can't think of anyone better suited to have times of joy and excitement for himself.
I know you are incredibly busy, so I'd really appreciate if you respond. What songs in ASOIF currently have music, and what would your perspective be on someone writing either music for songs with lyrics in your books, or even new songs? I understand if you would lump new lyrics with fanfic, and that is why I'm wanting your perspective, and would not proceed without permission. Currently, I'm working on some of the song of John Dowland(English lutenist) on my mandolin.
Thank you for your time,
Byron Grimes
