These worldbook "sidebars" are all threatening to turn into novellas.

interest in ASoIaF
It's humble of you to think so, but come on... ASoIaF is well past that risk... you'd have to very seriously mess up the ending of the series (like, ADoS being a long list of bullet-point questions with no given answers) for overall interest to decline.

At one point, "enough will be enough", but WORLD has its place in the saga as counterpart to The Silmarilion, no doubt. If anything, I think its sales will increase after A Dream of Spring, as those who are presently more skeptical about you bringing it to closure will then join the ranks of obsessive fandom.

The more outstanding risk to WORLD's (initial) reception would be getting delayed and ending up released close to The Winds of Winter, and being blown away (heh) by them.
