A friend recommended your books to me and I began reading them. I've really enjoyed them. I read some of your interviews, and I agree that the quality of the books is more important than the speed. I look forward to reading the next book when it comes out, and I'm confident that everyone will, in the end, be glad that you shared your amazing invented world with us in its epic scope, rather than doing things sloppily.
I myself do not write much or often, but I know that authors have personal lives that they're busy living, and muses show up at their own whim. In short, I think you're doing it right. Your current fan base might howl now, but your fans twenty-five years from now will be eternally grateful.
