That's OK, George - I don't mind hearing from you less often during the week (even if it's once a week, every week) if that means more time for you to do your work, writing, projects etc. I hope they are going well. I'm aiming to get lots of writing done over the holidays.
I'll send you an end of year message between the 21st & 24th. Hope all is well, and don't work TOO hard :)

Yay! W.O.W.

The last seven week's I've been looking for a way to get my mind off the fact that my father was dying. Whether it was sports, film, television, or your writing.

If I couldn't sleep I would read a few chapters of ADWD, try to go to bed but instead think of my best friend in pain. Then I would escape back to Westeros until rest was the only thing on my mind.

My father died this morning, he was 56. I've continued to re-read ADWD in between mourning with my family. Tonight after all the funeral arrangement's have been made and watching TED on demand with my mother. Dragons will bring me sleep.

I appreciate it. Family helps, and hearing George has had long hours writing always brings a smile.

George, writing is the last thing you need to apologize for. Especially if it involves The Winds of Winter. There's no better reason to skip blogging as far as I'm concerned.

Just stated reading a pals first edition of Armageddon Rag last week. I am currently reading about a hot Balloon ride. It is very good so far! I can't help Visualizing Sandy as you. Love digging through your older work sir! Loved Fevre Dream as well. Looking forward to many more.

Thank you for the updates, which we are not owed. Is the 4th Dunk and Egg novella still the current active project?

Probably get tons of these messages but if you ever want any input on the flooring side of remodeling don't hesitate to ask. I live in California so I can at least give you advice on material and pricing if you ever need it lol. I would just think it was cool to help you out.
