But then, in depths of the third, a spark of light ignited in the hearts of our heroes! A brave young knight known as Ser Danny of House Woodhead began to hammer the ball with all his strength. When all seemed lost, a single touchdown! The joy rose above the seeming futility of it all, we would not go quietly into that good night! Then, the legend rose from his slumber! Ser Tom drove down the field, and on fourth and goal on the half-yard line he soared into the endzone. Two more scores later the Pats had overcome their 31-3 deficit! The Light would not be extinguished on this rainy night..
But the Niners returned a kickoff to the Patriots 38 and scored on the next play. Before the end the Patiots scored a field goal but failed to recover the onside kick...
The light may have been beaten, but... atleast we showed up!!! Better late than never!
