Merry Xmas

Here's hoping all my fans and readers had a terrific Xmas.

Santa was very, very good to me. Books, turtles, jewelry, a coffeemaker (I mainline the stuff), monster movies, a tiny miniature of myself, a Richard Powers original, a dragon for my garden... what more can a boy want? (Aside from his lost youth, and a year's worth of 50 hour days to get more done).

Merry Christmas to you also, Ser! :)

Highlights under my tree (and stocking) include:

"barley wine" (extra strong beer, 11.5% by Mill St: 'Barley Wines are traditional winter brews that originate from England. Those robust ales are long-aged and can be enjoyed for years to come. English and Canadian Malts, aromatic hops and careful aging in whiskey barrels make the 2012 vintage a complex and multi-facetted gem')

a 'sleep cover' for my kobo (will still buy books, but with an ereader the # I do so will drastically decrease. You and some other authors are among those I'll still be buying physcial "books" from)

down-fleece throw, flat ware, kettle, toaster and other house things, as I plan to move out this year sometime.

Also, have you heard anything about the direwolf bookends? I'm debating on getting a set sometime soon...

Among the things Santa brought us was A FEAST OF ICE AND FIRE. We just about licked the pages, it all looks so good! Merry Christmas to you and yours! :)

Santa brought me DREAM SONGS
Santa brought me (through my girlfriend) volume 2 from DREAM SONGS and I have just finished "The Hedge Knight". It was wonderful!

Merry Christmas, George! you always bring magic to my Christmas. Today I was given the full set of Game of Thrones new dolls, a Baratheon and Tyrell shirt, and the new board game. My friends know what I like :P

I actually laughed out loud at "a tiny miniature of myself." That's amazing. :) Merry Christmas to you!
