Very glad to see Martin is devoting a lot of his time lately to writing Winds(judging by his updates). A Dance can hold us over for so long. Anyway, I was wondering whether Martin was serious when he stated there was a possibility for an eighth book. I'm pretty sure he mentioned that like a year or two ago, but can't remember if he followed up on that ever since. Even if it would be a better structure for the series(two trilogies bridged with two books) it would be a huge pain to wait longer than necessary for the ending of the series.
