I'm sure there are better ways and places of going about this but I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks. Words can not express how grateful I am for the countless hours of excitement and even torment I have experienced reading A Song of Ice and Fire. There were times where I literally had to set the book down and take time to process the enormity of what was happening and even times when I was brought to tears. To me there is no greater joy than slipping into a new hard back and traveling off to some distant world. I hadn't found a series where I was able to do that in quite a few years. You are truly an awe inspiring writer and I am so excited to begin reading more of your (not ASOIAF related) work.
