NFL Draft, Day 3

G-men
The Giants draft is looking very strong. No spectacular moves, but solid players who will make solid contributions. Grabbing Nassib in round four to back up Eli and groom as his successor was a great move.

The Jets draft... two defensive players in round one look okay, but considering how high they were taken, you had to hope for more. Neither one looks like a game-changer. And taking Geno Smith will set back the club years. Sanchez is likely to be released now, which means we are starting all over, and with a much iffier prospect than Mark was when he was first drafted,

I just think Sanchez's time has come and gone naturally. There comes a point in time when a player stops being considered young and needs to start producing year in and year out like a true professional. Sanchez arguably has regressed since his rookie year and I'm not entirely sure Geno is capable of playing much worse than him at this point. The D looks okay, but the O needs a complete overhaul.

To be fair he does have a winning record and only 1 year sub .500, but then again Vince Young i2 31-19 all time so QB win-loss record can't count for that much lol.

QBs need a team around them. Sanchez had no one to throw to last year, once Santonio Holmes and Dustin Keller went down. The right side of the O-line fell apart as well.
