The Princess and the Queen

enthroned
The final story in DANGEROUS WOMEN will be my own, a 30,000 word novella entitled "The Princess and the Queen," a history (somewhat abridged) of the Dance of the Dragons, as set down by a maester of the Citadel.

Tor.com has  uploaded a sample to their site.  You can find it here:

Enjoy.

(The full 80,000 word account of the Dance will eventually appear in a book, as yet untitled, that we're calling the GRRMarillion).

I am literally shaking with excitement. we are doing a Westeros MOD for Totalwar at the moment and all these snippits are great for sub mods. i would like the opportunity to say thanks for all your hard work, i know that the plebians pester you to finish you books quickly, but personally i hope they never end. I personally feel that waiting for writing perfection is more relevant than a rushed ending.... your writing style is like nothing ever seen before and constantly changing, making you feel hate and love with every character. . i love the similarities between your world and medieval england being a history buff i constantly see a mirror of life heros died in every battle for good or evil they fell like all men and this message is portrayed in your skills as a writer. George RR Martin you are imprisoned in the never ending cycle of literacy greatness. May all your days be summer. James Gilson a pre-hbo fan
