As a life long Kansas City Chiefs fan, I feel your pain. KC is looking good this year, but I have suffered much being a fan of my Chiefs! I won't even comment about today's game between the Chiefs and the Giants ;)

You were robbed!
Betrayed by the Emmys and the Giants, Good Ser, I don't know where to begin. At least we still have the Jets, though they will have to win at least five in a row before I will feel better about the state of the world we live in.

PS. Any updates on Wild Cards projects to tide this dismayed fan over?

Giant offensive game plan is terrible
My fall routine includes heading to your blog to see what you have to say about the Giants/Jets. The Jets don't have alot of talent, so there isn't much I can say there.

I think the giants need to switch from a big play and 'lets power run even if it doesn't work offensive' to a quick 3 step drop and get rid of the ball offense and move the chains. For big plays to work you need blocking to start with. They are not getting the blocking. The backs are terrible at picking up blockers (except Jacobs and he can't go the whole game) and their backs have trouble even catching screen passes and dump offs.

They have 3 good receivers, Eli Manning, and one decent receiving tight end. 3-6 yard pass plays to these guys seems like their best alternative. The Giants look to go deep more than anyone in the league. This has frustrated me for years. 3rd and 3, they throw deep and get an incomplete. Why? This fails more than it works.

They need to keep their lousy and injured defense off the field. I don't get the horrible game plan. Its more like 'this is what we want to be and this is our identity', well it doesn't work. So change your game plan to meet the talent that you have.

Other teams are smart enough to do this. I don't know why the giants insist on constantly going deep. They look to go deep more than Peyton Manning does.

Game of Thrones is competing for an Emmy during the golden age of television drama as a fantasy series of all things, and it's already received more major Emmy nominations than The Wire ever did.

They say The Wire got snubbed by Emmy voters because it was dense, multilayered, and grim. You should mark every nomination your dense, multilayered, grim fantasy series receives as an incredible victory. And really, there isn't any shame in losing to a series as magnificent as Breaking Bad.

Hey George! If those NY teams got you down, how about a shout out to the boys in purple. Northwestern Wildcats are 4-0 and ranked #16!!!
