Bizzaro Is Coming...

froggy
... to the Jean Cocteau.

((No, no, not the Superman villain.  He's Bizarro.  This is Bizzaro, the Optical Illusionist.))   He'll be performing at the Cocteau July 18-19.  Three shows.  An evening show at 6:20 on Friday, and a 2:00 matinee and 8:30 late show on Saturday.

Advance tickets are now on sale at the Cocteau website: http://www.jeancocteaucinema.com/

Our magic shows seem to have a habit of selling out, as the folks who couldn't get into Misty Lee and David Kwong's performances could tell you, so if you'd like to check out Bizzaro when he comes to Santa Fe, getcha seats now.

See you at the magic show.

This looks rad.

Maybe he can make my student debts disappear.

I'm a magician not a miracle worker.

In addition to being the top ranked admin of The Game of Thrones wikia, I am also a wiki prolific editor on contemporary illusionists. This guy is pretty exceptional and seeing him perform is one of the items on my bucket list--right up there with having dinner with Lauren Faust and guest writing an episode of Friendship Is Magic.

Little off topic. According to Google News, you now finally have a twitter account for real. Is that correct?

A defensive measure. It will largely serve to echo things I post here.

I haven't been to Vermont since 1977.

Jean Cocteau
Mr. Martin, do you generally attend all of the events at the JCC that you promote on here? I would love to fly out to NM to attend one, but my main motivation in coming is to hopefully meet you.

Re: Jean Cocteau
I don't attend all of the events at the Cocteau, no... we show a lot of movies, and as you know, I have books to write. But then, I don't mention EVERY movie we show on the Not A Blog either. The ones I do mention here are ones I am especially excited about, for one reason or another. Those I usually do attend. But only one showing. We may show a film twenty times, but I am not going to see it twenty times.

With special guests, like Bizzaro, you can usually count on me being there. Ditto our author events. (Unless I am travelling).

You are a very talented writer, and an A+ storyteller. However, I've always find this post to difficult to read; more specifically, I find the top 1/4 of this post impossible to comprehend on the first or second read-through. What's worse, this may be the fourth time it's appeared on your blog.

This part:

"((No, no, not the Superman villain. He's Bizarro. This is Bizzaro, the Optical Illusionist.))"

is especially difficult. There's a lot of fun going on there, but I'm all worn out by the time I get to the part where it says "Optical Illusionist", and at the end of it all I can't remember what happened or what I've read or what you're talking about.

I'm only mentioning this because it's shown up a few times on your LiveJournal. If you feel like it, I think that changing the first part of the post would make this post much easier to read.

It hasn't appeared four times, just once. I just keep bumping it to the top.

Don't understand what you don't understand, alas. Those lines seem perfectly clear to me.

I might be having trouble with all of the repetitions; double parentheses, double no's, and double Bizzarro's.

I hope the magic show goes well.

One Bizarro and one Bizzaro, rather.

Right. Next time, just invite both of them.

We both don't get along in the same room. Bizarro owes me money.

Bizarro is coming and so is the Tesla.
If only I could make it this Night and see your glorious theatre and the Tesla X with the winged doors of the falcon. Finished a re read of the Eighth Wild Cards novel last night, phenomenal as always, preeminent and foremost Ser.

Edit: I see you have purchased a Tesla S instead. Most humble apologies Ser for confusing the model. I tend to get easily distracted when rereading such innovative and splendid works from the Wild Cards series.
