In the Wind

The sharks are coming.

Lots of them.

Tonight on SyFy... and next month at the Jean Cocteau.

Check it out. Next year's Hugo favorite, for sure.

Maynard Plumm
Did Bloodraven really glamour himself to appear to be Maynard Plumm!???? I read that today and it blew my mind, and makes total sense.

Also, can Bloodraven/Bran/any warg, warg into a sharknado?

Re: Maynard Plumm
I get the same impresion after finish The Mystery Knight, specially for that part when Maynard is carrying Dunk to his tent, Duncan was staring at him, but hardly could distinguish anything.

On a scale...
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much enjoyment did you receive from the collective gasps of your fans at your trolling title? ;)

Obviously the sharks are coming to kill anyone distracting you from writing your next book.

And possibly to make sure that you don't kill of Tyrion or Arya. ;-)

Best laugh I've had all day!
I saw that first line, "The sharks are coming," and then the picture popped up. For some reason, that just started me laughing, and I couldn't stop. I really needed that today. Thanks George!!

Speaking of sharks, have you read the JAWS novel by Peter Benchley. I haven't, since I've got other things on my reading list at the moment, but I've been meaning to for awhile.

Yes.

The movie was better.

(Not a phrase that you will often hear pass my lips).

sharkno
I for one welcome our new shark overlords. If god or buddha wanted me in the ocean, I would of been given gills. Now I have to worry about landsharks!

We saw Sharknado
via RiffTrax in Cinemark on the Plaza. It was a hoot, though if I'd seen it on TV I'd want my hour and half of my life back...

Will be great fun though.

It's a real shame they didn't call this one 'For The Night Is Shark And Full Of Terrors.'
