Signed Books

Been awhile since we updated the Signed Books page for the Jean Cocteau, but we're finally starting to get caught up. Which means that some of the titles we've featured in our more recent author events are (at last!) available for mail order.

That includes two of my own titles -- A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS and the coloring book -- as well as Andy Weir's movie tie-in edition of THE MARTIAN.

All three titles can now be ordered from the JCC bookstore at http://www.jeancocteaubooks.com/ -- along with books from Dennis Lehane, Diana Gabaldon, Melinda Snodgrass, Steve Stirling, Junot Diaz, Anne Perry, Trent Zelazny, Steve Gould, and many more.

More titles forthcoming, so check back soon.

Immediately added all three to my Christmas wish list! My best friend studies in the US, so fingers crossed. Only problem would then be that I would have to come up with something on the same level of amazingness for her birthday... Anyway, love that you give fans the opportunity to get some signed books, you're awesome!

on the Cocteau´s homepage it says books will be shipped to " U.S. Territories", does this include American embassies in Europe as well? ;)

Tried to get "The Martian" but the link brings you to an old Pay Pal and wouldn't work?

"Knight..." Sold Out Already?
I just went to order a signed copy of "A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms" and saw that is was sold out (I already have an unsigned copy of this beautiful book). I assume you will be replenishing the stock. Unfortunately I waited too long to pick up a signed copy of "The World Of Ice & Fire" and lost out on getting a 1st edition. Hopefully there will still be 1st editions of "Knight" available in the near future!

They are sold out of the Game of Thrones signed copy also. :( Will you be selling any more of those?

Such a shame that the Jean Cocteau doesn't ship books internationally anymore. Any plans to bring back international shipping in the future?

We are working on it.

The problem is the shipping. The US post office has eliminated all the low cost options they used to offer, like Sea Mail and M-bags, so now costs are prohibitively high. Our overseas customers react very negatively when told their $20 book is going to cost $100 to ship, and often cancel their orders. It wastes time and creates bad feelings.

And every country is different, so a lot of back and forth correspondence is necessary before we can even quote a price.

But we ARE looking for a solution.
