You Missed It

Hiya kids, hiya, hiya.

Hey, you missed the fun. Last night's appearance by the Suicide Girls at the Jean Cocteau was amazing. Sellout crowd, and an amazing sexy raucous nerdilicious show. Planet of the Apes, Star Wars, Thriller, Rocky Horror... oh, and a bit with a girl and three dragons.

Tonight the Suicide Girls will be performing down in Albuquerque, at a much bigger venue... but they seemed to like the intimacy of the Jean Cocteau, and our audience certainly loved it.

After Albuquerque, they have dates in Tucson, Phoenix, Las Vegas (Nevada, not New Mexico), and San Diego before winding up their current tour.

If they come to a city near you, check it out. (And no, burlesque is not just for dirty old men any more. In fact, there were probably more women than men in our auditorium last night. Lots and lots of couples. And everyone went out hooting and hollering and smiling).

We hope to welcome to Suicide Girls back to Santa Fe again next year.

Fantastic. I really enjoyed the recent interview/post with the founder of the Suicide girls here as well, a surprising post to find here that I didn't expect that relates to my partner in Calgary here, who has done burlesque shows for the last 6 years.

It's great to see you supporting this art form at the J.C. theater George, hopefully someday we can attend a future show, we would absolutely come down for the next one.

Great picture George, again, thank you for supporting these women in an incredibly fun form which combines fantastic artwork, dance, etc.

My fiance began with ballet, then modern, and now does a lot of various forms, but loves her burlesque shows the most, where she and her cohorts truly unleash.

Working for The Black Heart Burlesque Tour
I'm a stage hand and am lucky enough to have worked with the Black Heart Burlesque tour a few times and boy are they fun. The girls are so so nice every year that I can't wait to work it again when they're in Boston! The last time they performed over here they did so at The House Of Blues and their performance/crew were great! How was the artwork this year, did they have a screen printed poster like last year? Hope you had fun George, I know I did.

You have *NO* business looking that grumpy in that picture.
OK, you _could_ have been writing, but you gotta suffer for your art.
