Pretty Dany Moneyeyes

This wild ride I have been on for this last decade just keeps getting wilder.

The amount of GAME OF THRONES stuff out there boggles even me.

Here's the latest:

I have not seen this one in person myself. I understand there is one at the Sky City casino down near Acoma, west of Albuquerque. Whether Sandia or Camel Rock or any of the other Indian casinos nearby have them I don't know, though I suspect they do.

I don't go to casinos very often, and when I do I prefer to play poker or blackjack with other human beings rather than the slots, but I'd play this one. In fact, I want one for myself. Though I have no idea whether it is even legal for an individual to own a slot machine, or if you need a casino to be able to have one.

(I do have the GAME OF THRONES pinball machine. Which is very cool itself).

What's next, you ask? No idea...

Hi George! How are you?

Can you answer a question? What is the name of Doran's parents? Which house was his father?

The Prize that was Promised
With my luck some red head would tell me I needed to get 3 of Stannis in a row to get the big prize, when really it was the Stark bastard I'd been ignoring all game that gives the jackpot.

I just spotted this game in a Vegas casino this weekend! Next to the Walking Dead game, the House of Cards Game, and, our fave, the Orange is the New Black game.

I wonder what the iron bank would think of that one, eh?
That's awesome. And I thought I was being wild when I bought the GAME OF THRONES Monopoly game! A pinball machine, that's where it's at, George! I gotta keep an eye out for those slots if I'm done being a hermit.

There's an online version. And I'm sure you'll be pleased to learn from the manufacturer that the physical version won "Best Slot Product in the 15th Annual Gaming & Technology Awards in 2015" (and now you know whom to contact to try to get one for yourself :-> )

Do they need to get licencing rights off you and HBO before they make them? Surely IP and copy right applies esp as they are using images of the actors.

It's cool in a strange way. I would definitely leave a few more bucks in Vegas if I saw one.

I can't imagine how surreal it is for you to see your babies, characters you have lived with for over 20 years (happy anniversary!) suddenly becoming celebrities in their own right, with their faces plastered everywhere.

Seven hells! I won a talking plush doll made in the likeness of you in a competition. I can't fathom how bizarre it must be for a boy from Bayonne to see a talking figurine of himself.

What I can tell you is that it's impossible not to smile when you see the doll atop my bookshelf, so enjoy the craziness.

They have that game in Detroit. Its my fav. I like slot machines with a lit of action and this one has it. They have a random feature where Dany says Dracarys and Drogon comes on the screen and lights the reels on fire, very entertaining.

many of them seem to have age restrictions. not yours or mine, but the machine's age.

I saw a set of these in Vegas a few weekends back, when I was staying in Meereen the Luxor. As I am much more a "drink and know things" person than a gambler, however, I did not play it, though I did stop and look at it longer than I did any other slot machine…much to the chagrin of the people playing it at the time. (Slot players seem so antisocial, alas…!?!)

It may be cliche, but nonetheless, I must in this situation: I think with your writing's success and the cultural pervasiveness of your stories and characters now, one can say you've hit the jackpot. And now I will be thoroughly thrashed for having said something so ridiculous. ;)

Speaking of games (kind of), one of my favorite games of all time, console, computer and board is The Dark Tower by milton Bradley. A few years back i spent the monies to build a 100% complete set. Upwards of 300$ total. But whatever, its something i enjoy now as much as i did in the 80s. So, a Dark Tower style-aSoIaF board game would be mad sick! JS.

I played this at the Red Rock Casino in Vegas (although I think it might technically be in Summerlin, it's quite a ways off of the Strip). There are as many slot machines as there are pop culture phenomena at any given time, and some stick around way longer than is polite (I'm looking at you, Sex In The City).

GoT slots in Las Vegas
There are GoT themed slot machines in Las Vegas too. I've seen them at Mirage and Luxor and I it is probably at other casinos too. Of course I had to play it when I saw one. It didn't treat me so well though. I got the "dracarys" bonus which was fun, but I never got to any of the other bonuses. Next time I go I'll give it another go. You'd be amazed at the number of slot machines they come up with based on tv, movies, etc. The Rolling Stones slot machine is my favorite. I love playing blackjack, but I cannot resist the slot machines for long.

Next....
Game of Thrones the lunch box
Game of Thrones the breakfast cereal
Game of Thrones THE FLAME THROWER!!!!

Merchandising... Where the real money is made.

Stolen from Spaceballs. If you like Star Wars and enjoy a good spoof then you are truly missing out if you've never watched the Mel Brooks classic.

You can have a working slot machine in your home if it's an antique. The exact age varies from state to state. I'm sure something could be worked out though if the manufacturer knew that GRRM wanted one for his home.

What a coincidence. My wife (who does not frequent casinos) played this at the Ameristar Casino in Blackhawk, CO just this past weekend. She didn't particularly like the game, but said the graphics were cool.

GoT Slot
Must be honest and admit I do go to the casino on occasion. I will be on the look out for this machine, but it is GoT after all and the machine may be Cersei, so I'm out of luck on winning I would imagine. LOL !!

Does this almost cover all that be set to GoT, or are there still a few more open gizmo's???

I tried to tweet you my design, although i know you don't check it. It's a Valyrian Steel Yeti cooler. Forged before the doom of Valyria, it's ultralight and extremely durable. During the hottest days of a long summer it can hold ice for months. Ask Euron for details.

I also really want to see Armie Hammer (Rhaegar) and Clive Standen (young Robert) flashback battle on the Trident.

I hope you win the jackpot today with the Emmy Award nominations.

With just one more win, you would have created the biggest and most Emmy Award winning drama of all time.

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Peruvian Fan
Dear G.R.R.M. Is the first time I write to you and before all, I want to thank you for give me many hours of fun. The reason of this message is because I recently read a news that you gonna be part of the Book Convention in Mexico. I think that's great but I can't help but feel envy. Here in Lima we will have our most important Book Convention the next weekend, and I only can dream that you could come here too... Probably this year is imposible but maybe the next one. I really hope so..
Other news that sound very loud lately in this side of the world, is that Winds of Winter will be ready to buy in September. Aparently a serious colombian bookstore was promoting the book for September of this year.. That is real??? I really hope so, but if isn't... nevermind, we'll keep waiting.
PLEASE COME TO PERU SOME DAY! :D Love you man! Continues to make us dream!
