Another Bloody Sunday

Ah, football Sunday...

The Giants came out looking like they were going to dominate the Redskins. Then they shot themselves in the foot. Then they shot themselves in the other foot. Then they shot themselves in the calves, the thighs... stupid penalties, fumbles, interceptions, more stupid penalties. Horrors.

The Jets missed their flight to Kansas City. I don't know who those guys were wearing the green and white uniforms.

Life is meaningless and full of pain.

NFC qb's
What's your thoughts on the young qb's in the NFC east Dak for the cowboys and Wentz for the Eagles? I've been more impressed than dissapointed in them.

The game.
As a Kansas City fan, I'll gladly accept the team that showed up today back again for all future games.

Go big boooo
El-i-ntercaption Manning really worked his dark magic today. I think I'm going to pretend today never happened.

Sorry to hear it George.

Meanwhile, in Australia, my team has made the grand final for first time in 55 years! This is aussie rules football mind you.

And I'm going to said game next weekend for the first time in my life, however it's mighty expensive. Oh well. Worth it I hope!

Is 6 picks good?

Interception city
Fitz and Marshall couldent get on the same page..it was brutal .. I don't know why he kept his throwing to him. Decker wasn't involved , the running game wasn't happening...let's see how next week goes

That was a rough game
I really felt like after the last few picks Fitzpatrick was trying to end the game.

Ooohhh The Jets how you seem to amaze me
I am a huge Jets fan George and today I can't even fathom how this team seems to find the worst way to lose. Eli and the G men although never elite always find a way to win over the years, but the Jets on the other hand....hmmmm... 6 picks is appalling to say the least. I feel like they too $12 million and flushed it down the toilet. They should have traded for Bradford. They have a win now lineup with this aging roster.

Ugh you are so right about the Giants game. "They keep shooting themselves in the foot" is a phrase I've heard my dad say in reference to the Giants too many times over the years. We beat ourselves today. Oh well, on to next week. We'll get the 'Skins in their house later. Go Big Blue!

Can you let Fitzy start again? I think Bryce would be nice. Also, considering the schedule and Fitz' performance today, is the Jets' season over?

Even with Fitz's and special teams' turnovers, I'm really most concerned about our secondary defense and defensive coaching. We are getting burned on every side and it's been a problem since week 1. It feels like Revis has seriously lost his step and Calvin Pryor is underperforming compared to last year. If we don't figure out how to get our secondary coverage faster, better at tackling, and most importantly, on the same page, we don't stand a chance these next 3 weeks.

In stone halls the Redskins burn fires,

in stone halls the Chiefs forge sharp spears.

Whilst I walk alone in the mountains,

with no true companion but tears.

The Tales of Dak called Egg!
Dak Targarayen also known as the "Dak the Doubtful" was the younger brother of the King Of Westeros Tonias Targarayen who ruled with such promise early on but was taken with spells of madness later in life and insisted on burning whole seasons away on the smallest of whims. Eventually, in a fit of madness, Tonias decided to ride in a tourney of no note against untested squires in order to insure a victory only to be unhorsed right away and break his back in the process... Unable to deal with the shame of being unhorsed in a squires tourney and left a cripple he left the crown on the iron thrown and vanished in the night. This is where the Young Dragon, without a moment of hesitation picked up both crown and sword and defended the honor of the Royal House on the very same day he was made King against a decorated champion of renown from House Manning and fought to a near draw in a tilt that saw 20 lances broken before a victor declared. Over the next 2 weeks the young dragon Dak The Doubtful proved himself quelling an uprising in the East against the Hated Redskins and returned home and repelled an assault on the Capital by the Treacherous Bears of House Bolton. This story is yet to be completed. But the Young Dragon an Unlikely Ruler has carried his House back to Honor and made our enemies suffer through fire and blood! Is he the Prince that was promised? Or will Tonias return from his self exile to take back the crown and lead the "S-Targarayen" armies to victory. You will have to wait for the next book to come out to find out. "Wins in the Winter" is rumored to be released tomorrow on 394 publications along with an Algerian Amazon Barcode showing an October Release date but Unheralded Author and Lifelong GRRM supporter Caleb H had this to say, "it will be done when it's done" and "Look, this is a complex Book about a Complex Organization with Multiple Main Characters like the Old Dragon Jerriah Targarayen (jerry jones) The Maester Of StarRise but 100's of minor characters that weave intricate plot lines throughout the book and have in some cases large parts to play in the outcome. Plus the back stories and history in a world like this is so difficult to write and keep track of. Such as Emmitius Smith the Small Dragon, Troyu The Conqueror who conquered the Known World 3 times! Be patient when it's done I will let you know until then don't believe what you read"!

A little Humor with my football love! Hope not offended My Liege King George!

Bloody Sunday???
With all due respect I wouldn't use that name to designate bunch of overpaid guys having slightly smaller number on scoreboard than another bunch of overpaid guys.

On the brightside
Just look on the brightside of the Jets' woes. The Patriots haven't had Brady yet this season and have been struggling mightily, I believe they are 0-3!

*cough *cough

Don't fret yet
This weekend may have stunk but I still feel like these are both good teams this year and both have a shot at the playoffs.

The Jets game was hard to watch. I felt bad for Fitz really, the majority of his int's were his WR's fault. As a Colts fan it was good to see them win finally. I just continue to root for any team playing the Patriots, I loathe them...

Well... I'm pretty confident the Bengals would beat the Jets even though they're both on the same sinking boat...

NFC East
Was once the proudest, baddest division in football. Now my Iggles are looking like they are going to run away with it.

The Giants are, and always will be, the enemy, but it was very satisfying to lay the wood to Steelers and own the state of PA. What do you think of Wentz?

On another note... take a look at this:

Carson Wentz looking good. Hoping he is not another RG3 and busts out after 1 season.

Six interceptions in one game...
Do you think that the seven interceptions in the first three games (versus three TD's) from Fitzpatrick are merely a consequence of his long preseason holdout? If so, do you think that he can begin to gel with his receivers as the weeks (and practices) go by? I fear that this is a real issue with Chan Gailey's offense.

At least the Jets aren't the Browns. I read an article about a Browns' fan threatening to jump from atop a bridge.
