I am closing down book sales for a while, since I leave for Finland on July 5. Reopen in late July or August. If there's a signed book you want, please wait till then.
Well, have fun and stay safe! Try some sahti while you're there, you'll enjoy it. Meanwhile, I'll join the hordes in hoping that Dragons is on the horizon. :) Take care, George!
Like jukkahoo said, we have had our heat wave in Finland too... in the past week or so, it´s been over 25°C = 77°F and in direct sunlight we have had temperatures like 33°C = 91.4°F, but luckily for you George the heat is probably dropping down, when you arrive in Finland, maybe around 20°C = 68°F, but one can never be sure of temperatures, so prepare for anything, except winter temperatures and snowstorms! ;oD
Welcome for you George and Parris though! *bows down*
Ps. I´m sorry, that we had our Medieval Turku happening just past weekend, so you missed it, I´m sure you would have liked to visit there, if you could have made it so. :o)
Remember: In Finland, you order your draft beer by the size and strength. Iso kolme = big three (average American beer) Iso nelja = big four (better tasting beer, and stronger)
I won't bother with small. :)
Enjoy the sauna and swims in the lake after. It's summer time, after all.
This is off-topic, but I just found this page at ebay, which is selling books from Forrest J Ackerman's collection. I thought you or your readers might be interested.
I've already purchased all of the books offered, but if I hadn't then I would definitely appreciate the reminder. I'm sure that your conscientiousness is one of the reasons that all of my previous purchases from you have gone so well.
Meanwhile, I hope that you have a great time and I look forward to hearing anything about the trip that you would care to share. There are unfortunately no travel plans in my future and the chance to live vicariously through others is always welcome.
I'd rather see you at Wizard World in Chicago. But I expect the last scene from the movie, Perfume, where the guy gets torn to shreds because people love him too--

But, yes, on behalf of Finncon and Finland in general: Welcome, sir! Looking forward to meeting both you and Parris next week.

"Nooooo, you can't go on vacation once you've finally gotten on a roll with Dance! Not allowed!"
