ENnie Awards

My congratulations to Chris Pramas and his crack team at Green Ronin Games. Nominations have been announced for this year's prestigious ENnie Awards, given each year at Gencon, and Green Ronin scored five nominations for their licensed games:

Best Interior Art: Wild Cards
Best Rules: A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying
Best Free Product: A Song of Ice and Fire Quickstart
Best Game: A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying
Product of the Year: A Song of Ice and Fire Roleplaying

The final awards are determined by a public vote. Voting opened Friday and will continue until August 1, so if you'd like to cast a ballot, head on over to the awards website at http://www.ennie-awards.com and let your voice be heard.

The awards ceremony is the evening of August 14 at GenCon. I'll have my fingers crossed.

I'm going to have to pick up a copy of the game. I like your new photo, BTW.

You were at Comic-Con, right? I thought I saw your name on the programming for something not related to ASOIAF. A panel for that would have been nice, believe me. :)

I am not at comicon. I just got back from Finncon and I will shortly be taking off for worldcon in Montreal. No time to do San Diego as well.

There are too many cons too close together in the summer. I wish comicon, Gencon, and worldcon were further apart.

Gen Con
Recognizing that you have tons to do, and a full time job, I'll still throw out that I'd LOVE to meet you at Gen Con some day. As a gamer more than a comic fan, or general sci-fi/fantasy fan, I'm unlikely to ever attend Comic-Con or Worldcon.

However, you have a TON of fans that are gamers, and Gen Con is the mecca for gamers.

I'll be voting for the new rules, they are pretty great.

Have a productive summer!

You should go to DragonCon in Atlanta in early September. The name would go perfectly with you finishing up a certain book!! :P

Voting Done. Also will be at GenCon running games. I plan to pick up the ASOIAF RPG. It's my next campaign project. I generally run a game for a year+ when I do campaigns(once a week game). Look foreward to it.

Hey George,

It's a terrific book, isn't it?

With luck we'll grab a few more RPG awards for Westeros!

cheers,

It's a shame there is only one POC and one female to vote for as judges. Bunch of white dudes, guess it's to be expected.
