They're Not Siblings...

... but they play them on TV.

Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Sophie Turner were strangers when they were cast, respectively, as Arya, Bran, and Sansa Stark, but the three have since become fast friends, which I think is cool. They even like to hang when they're not working.

Anyway, Sophie Turner's mum Sally sent me this picture of their latest get-together, and I wanted to share it with my readers.

The fourth member of the quartet is the newest member of the Turner family -- Zunni, the dog who played Lady. Sophie and Sally adopted her after the show wrapped.

Sansa adopted Lady in real life? She gets to keep her forever?

If you are an ASOIAF fan and this does not make your day, I submit that you have an absolute warm-fuzzy immunity.

Honestly, it almost made me cry. It's the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time.

They Look really terrific
This is incredible four you, George.

I mean, come on, HBO doing "A Song of Ice and Fire"?

I will be pinching my cheeks every 60 seconds xD.

On our website, Scifiworld.es, the show is the most expected this year.

Great love for you from Spain, master.

PS: Yes, I am not going to ask you about "ADWD". Or maybe... xD

Awwww, Lady Lives!

That is a beautiful animal! Looks a tad small for a direwolf I think, but I'm sure the cinematographer has his/her way of making them seem bigger than they are on screen.

It was really sweet of Sophie to adopt her. She looks very well behaved!

Also I have to say, it's too bad that the three will barely have any parts together over the rest of the series, now that they're friends. I hope they get their reunion at the end of the books.

How wonderful to know that at least one incarnation of Lady has a good home! Absolutely delightful photo. They look like great kids.

Awesome kids!
I've said it before; these kids are SO well-cast, and they look like some really fun-loving young people as well, I hope they had a good time together becoming their characters. And I still weep for Lady...

Re: direwolf
The UK won't let them film with real wolves or even hybrids. So we the audience will have to learn to live with less than ideal casting here, but I'm happy so far with what I've seen of the animals!

Beautiful! This just made my day. Especially because I'm a fan of Huskies. :-)

Nice! Can't wait for April 17 and a good reason to celebrate my birthday this year!! ;)

That is wonderful, heart-warming news - particularly about Zunni, given the way things work out for Lady in the book. I feel like ASoIaF has always tried to give us a realistic fantasy world that mirrors our own in many ways, but sometimes the real world does shine so much brighter.

I think my brain just... imploded for the cuteness of it all :) Thanks for sharing this with us!

lady sized Lady???
glad to hear they get along so well, even though that is quite contrary to their characters... :-)

Was my imagination running wild with me while reading the books?
But I imagined Lady & Co A LOT taller, leaner/lankier and meaner looking.

Like a Danish Dog sized, Husky/Shepard/Wolf mix that's been a drug addict for a few years...

Re: lady sized Lady???
Apparently the UK forbids filming with real wolves or even hybrids. So it'll likely either be CGI'd or left to the audience to suspense belief just for that.
