They're Not Siblings...

... but they play them on TV.

Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead-Wright, and Sophie Turner were strangers when they were cast, respectively, as Arya, Bran, and Sansa Stark, but the three have since become fast friends, which I think is cool. They even like to hang when they're not working.

Anyway, Sophie Turner's mum Sally sent me this picture of their latest get-together, and I wanted to share it with my readers.

The fourth member of the quartet is the newest member of the Turner family -- Zunni, the dog who played Lady. Sophie and Sally adopted her after the show wrapped.

Zunni is a beautiful dog, to be sure, but not exactly a dire wolf. I'm guessing they've done some kind of camera angle + CG magic to make actor dogs into huge wolves?

That's so cute that they hang out together and so sweet that one of the girls adopted the dog. Her life will be better than the real Lady's I'm sure.

Well, there's a distinct shortage of guys running around with swords beheading things in our world, so I'm guessing she's safe from that angle at least.

I sometimes forget about Lady's rather brief time in the story. I'm glad the canine actor found a good home.

Perfect Casting
That's awesome! I can't wait to see them working together. Lady looks perfect too. Will she be available for filming of "A Clash of Kings" next year? ;)

No direwolves?
Wait.

A dog is playing the part of Lady? The fine folks at HBO can't scratch out a real direwolf to play this role?!?

Very Cool!
One of my favorite things from the LOTR dvds was seeing the cast interact and hearing about the things they did together off camera. Very cool that Zunni gets a family for her hard work on the show!

That's great that the cast members get along so well! Always a good sign when your see actors form that bond of friendship from working together on a set :)

I'm very excited / anxious for your show to air!

Thrilling Picture Mr. Martin! TV series is exciting and Sansa Stark girl is beautiful and realistic like book.

Northern Inuit dog is good dog but I am wondering why not use Sulimov? Is patriotic dog of Russian airport security and is like wild beast of Westeros since is part jackal. Is smaller dog but appearance is more like mad dog of Siberian forest!

It'll be great to find out what happens to the kids in A Dance with Dragons...
