P.S. I am a day late in getting this up, I know. Sorry. With the TV series set to premiere on Sunday night, HBO has so much happening right now that I can't possibly keep up. Not and wrestle Kong into submission at the same time. And Kong comes first. So those of you who are interested in up-to-the-minute info on the show, please check in regularly at Westeros http://asoiaf.westeros.org/ and Winter Is Coming http://winter-is-coming.net/ where you'll find the latest news and views much more quickly than I can hope to get it up.

Those look so awesome! I wish they were coming to Las Vegas, although its almost worth the 4 hour drive to LA to take a pic in one this weekend. :)

Thanks for the links to the Westeros and Winter Is Coming sites, Sir George, those will be very helpful. I especially like the countdown - 2 days, 1 hour, 46 minutes and 53 seconds and counting {g}!

Map of Westeros and Essos
Everyone should check out the interactive map of Westeros and Essos using HTML5. The site also has all the family hierarchies. It is incredible fan service!!! I love HBO!!! I am so stoked for the show to premiere on Sunday! I've reread the four books and I am ready and waiting!

Here is the Map (and other good stuff):

How can we get one to WV?
How can we get a throne to come to West Virginia? We never get anything good around here. We're more remote than Castle Black.

You mean... Yesterday.

Okay, Great. I wish you hadn't mentioned it, actually.

Man, no Iron Throne near Missouri! No love for the midwest, no love at all.

Gaagh I am so annoyed that I invited my mother to visit me in Buffalo during my vacation instead of going down to NY to visit her! Gaaak!

Will definitely have to check out the Throne while it's in my hood!

In the meantime, to pass the time in waiting for the show to premiere this Sunday - I decided to share some of my illustrations depicting Sansa's romantic view of the pageantry at The Hand's Tournament. You can check them out here: http://www.artisillustration.com/?p=518
