If I understand correctly, to vote you first have to "Like" TV GUIDE. Then you get to cast a ballot.

I Liked the page, voted for Game of Thrones, then 'unliked' and left. I hope it counts!

Hmm - KatzRocks makes a good point. Winter is coming - which means so is Xmas. Any word on the DVD release?

Exactly! I need to ask Santa Klaus (my father) to give me the first season's blu-ray as a XMas gift... lol

Voted! Also, you should go on The Colbert Report! He loves fantasy/LotR and I have a feeling he's a fan! It would be the best of both worlds for me!

a live action role-playing game in Siberia
Dear Mr. Martin!
We are your biggest fans in Omsk-city (Siberia, Russia). My friends and I highly value the legacy of your works. That is why we decided to make a live action role-playing game based on one of your most exciting novels – «A Game Of Thrones». This game will be organized near Omsk on the 9th-12th of august in 2012 for your fans in Siberia. This project is absolutely not commercial. It is just an action where many of your admirers will meet and have fun.
We make a game of plots, treason and struggle for existence in a bloody world of big politics, where there is no place confidence. The game is designed for 300-350 players. Each of them will have their own role – a person from «A Game Of Thrones».
We invite you to visit our project. We also will happy see you performing one the persons from your book.
Here is the e-mail if you would like to contact us:

Best regards!

Voted.

Walking Dead was up there too, and that might have been a tough decision, were it not for how drastically that show has diverged from the comic. The comic is a gritty, gripping character drama that explores what makes us human; the tv show is a gory action flick. ...Yeah, I said it.

I tend to be picky about literature -> screen changes, but my only beef with the changes made for the Game of Thrones boils down to "Wait, does this mean we won't get to see Nikolaj AT ALL in season two?!?! NOOOO"
