Re: Star Wars VII Trailer
Another clickbait article. As a former journalist, I cannot comprehend how people dare put a byline to this claptrap, let alone a photo byline.

I would be ashen faced were it me.

Did I not read somewhere, George, that you are not even a particularly huge fan of the Star Wars franchise?

I liked the first two movies.

Agreed. I'm very interested to see what J.J. Abrams will do with it and where he will take it.

What were your qualms with Return of The Jedi?

I felt it lacked the depth of episodes IV and V but made up for it in the upgraded action scenes. I was a kid when I saw it.

And I feel it worth mentioning, I hated reading. After season 1 of Game of Thrones, I couldn't wait for season 2 so I went out the next day after the finale and picked up the entire A Song of Ice and Fire Series and finished it in less than 3 months. You opened up an expanse of experience for me. For that I thank you

Re: Star Wars VII Trailer
I didn't think we needed a recap of the 'blow up the Death Star' plot. Did that in the first movie, no need to do it again.

And the Fuzzies... er, Hoka... er, Ewoks seemed awfully derivative to me.

JEDI wasn't nearly as bad as the three prequels, mind you, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first two either.

Re: Star Wars VII Trailer
Spot on with the 'Death Star part 2' AND the Ewoks.

Do you have any expectations for what's to come or anything you want to see in the new Star Wars?

The footage from the trailer feels more like "A New Hope" than anything else. One can only hope.
There's so much that can be done with that story.

I hope we get to see a little more of what it means to be a Jedi and the order, same goes for the Sith.

Re: Star Wars VII Trailer
I remember reading somewhere that technically New Hope is the repeat of blowing up the death star. When Lucas stretched his story out he added a new death star for the first movie so technically Jedi is it's original location. Still doesn't excuse the lazy reuse :D

chapter one of the Telltale game was great
I honestly wasn't interested in this game at all when I initially saw the first headlines. But after watching a YouTube walk through of someone playing it, I became immediately interested in the story and decision making. I already bought the season pass.

As for the click bait article. These use to annoy me because they represent no journalistic integrity whatsoever. But they are fucking hilarious. The amount of bullshit is just amazing and they always wrap it up with a recent George quote to make it seem authentic and plausible.

It isn´t a recent quote mostly, sometimes it is a quote from months ago :)

Re: Star Wars VII Trailer
Thats today´s journalism. Make something up, get money for some clicks by saying they have "a source". And the biggest shame is the fact that there are alreade many other sites referring to this one, which is absolute nonsens.

Anyway, here is a cartoon on the topic:

That sums it up pretty well.
