At the Superbowl

Go Seahawks!!

Deflate the Pats!

LATER: life is meaningless and full of pain.

And that was beyond a doubt the worst play call in the history of the superbowl.

Oh Lord Why?
Why pass from the 1/2 yard line? Nooooooooooo. I'll never watch football again (until fall).

And the dark side wins again. ;)

Well Seahawks almost won, but managed to beat themselves.
Shall we say an "unusual" call from the 1yd line?
Kind of play that makes you wonder if Littlefinger had a role somewhere ...

If there is one thing SoIaF has taught me, it's that bad guys can win. Now the Superbowl has taught me the same lesson.

That's a disgrace!
The evil wins!

There is no hope.

I have no opinion on the Seahawks

But they made me sad twice.

First was the painful elimination of my Packers against them.

Now they had an even more painful defeat on the Superbowl, against the Patriots that i absolutely hate.

Maybe you didn't like the outcome George, but you can't ask for a better game than that and honestly it was nothing but pure entertainment leading up to the game with deflate gate, Marshawn Lynch and the media, and the rest of the Seahawks up to their usual antics. It was a great week.

It's kind of amazing how these coaches expect so much of their players in these pressure situations, yet when they themselves are under the gun, they freak the hell out. Never mind the decision by Bevell / Carroll to throw there, but how about the Patriots decision to not call a timeout? Unbelievable.

I give Pete Carroll some credit. He showed a lot of humility in his interview. He took the blame for the loss and you can tell it wasn't just lip service, he looked really emotionally distraught and you could tell that he blamed himself. That's in complete contrast to how the other guy would've responded.

Anyway glad they hooked you up for the Super Bowl..

There's a school of thought that the Patriots didn't call a timeout before the fateful interception because Seattle seemed confused and not properly matching up pre-snap. Ironically, a New England timeout there could have saved Seattle's season.

Of course, we'll never know...

I am done with football forever. Beaten by the patriots. -___-" Sadness.

Superbowl 49
I hate the Patriots as much as the next guy. Brady is a top 3 QB of all time.

That pass wasn't the highest percentage call - I'd have done read option with Wilson & Lynch - but it was really just a case of the New England DB making a great play on the ball. If he doesn't read the play perfectly and react right away, it's Touchdown Seattle...

So George, are you as upset as me that that oh-so-beautiful look of "oh my God, not this s*** again" on Brady's face after that catch will not go down in history? It's almost as bad as if it was Gang Green that had lost the Super Bowl at the last second (but who am I kidding, we would have had to get there first).

Now you know how I felt after reading the red wedding for the first time. Hurts doesn't it

Seahawks boneheaded offensive coordinator made a massively boneheaded play call. What should have been three straight running plays and likely a win ended up a painful loss that should not have happened. Dude the unemployment line forms to the left.

It was so ridiculous!! The Hawks had it. We had it and *boom*, gone in a second. It truly was the worst play call ever. It was disappointing.
But it truly was a good game and congrats to the Pats.
