Unfortunately this side of the state is under an air quality advisory and everyone's being advised to stay indoors (except for needed activities obvs) because of all the fires in BC and WA! Sad day, but have a great time George and anyone else going!

I live in Spokane, as well. There is much to see and do here. Riverfront Park is great, Manito, Duncan Gardens, Japanese Gardens, many, many lakes and rivers. Good luck to you!

Have been looking forward to this since the announcement in 2013. a week before the event I find out I have to go to Chicago for work.

Sort of like running a marathon only to be tripped in sight of the finish line.
