Hugo Nominees Announced

MidAmericon II has announced the final ballot for the 2016 Hugo Awards. You can find the list here:

http://midamericon2.org/home/hugo-awards-and-wsfs/2016-hugo-finalists/

It is, to say the least, a mixed bag. A lot of good books and stories, writers and artists... cheek by jowl with some stuff that is considerably less worthy.

I will have more to say when I've had more time to review and digest the ballot.

Re: First glance...
Um... you do know that I'm coming, yes? My lines are usually pretty long. Though they'd be a lot longer if we didn't cap them.

Re: First glance...
I went was in one of your lines in february. It was long but moved incredibly fast. I was impressed. I also attended a reading and two Q&A's. All of which were packed. And that was at a small convention in the mountains of Virginia. So I'm guessing the big ones are even crazier.

Whoops. Yes, I knew you were coming. I should have been clearer that I meant Weir, Brown, AND you. I'm planning on being in all three lines, if possible. If Stephen King didn't decline his nomination, maybe he'll come. Stranger things have happened, I suppose.
