Snod, on Rusty

A new post went up today on the Wild Cards blog, the latest installment in our series, "My Favorite Wild Cards Character (That I Did Not Create)."

This time it's Melinda Snodgrass, singing the praises of Wally Gunderson, better known as Rustbelt. Check it out at http://www.wildcardsworld.com/my-favorite-wild-cards-character-that-i-didnt-create-2/

Wild Cards fans, sound off... who is your favorite character from the series?

that's a difficult question...
Oh God...there are so many characters...if I had to choose one character....I love the Sleeper, but, really, George, thank you very much for creating this universe along with the other writers. Tachyon, Chrysalis, Fortunato, the Great and Powerful Turtle, Hiram, Brennan...there are too many good characters haha.

I have read three books, is Stopwatch reappearing at some point? I like him too

PS: While reading the third book I dreamed about making one of "the Colombians" an ace ;). he/she would be sooo cool...

Curse my selective memory!
My favorite is the woman who can channel the dead by holding one of their items of clothing. I'm not sure what it is about her that I like so much, but it seems such a fleeting, melancholy glimpse into the human condition. I really enjoy her.

My favorite characters
I am a huge Wild Cards fan and I will gladly read about any wild carder, but if I had to pick one favorite...

I guess that would be Vic Milan's Captain Trips. And I'm still ambivalent about the role he played in the Committee triad (or, to be precise, the role one of his identities played). I was never expecting that.

I'm also a huge fan of Walter Jon William's classic characters: Golden Boy, Modular Man, and Black Shadow.

Finally, Pat Cadigan's Water Lily has always been a favorite. And Snodgrass's Doctor Tachyon.

From the new crowd, I'm very fond of Rustbelt, Amazing Bubbles, and the Infamous Black Tongue.
